It all started in Tampa in 1979...

Ron Kelly and Lee McCutcheon started a small prop shop in Tampa.  Lee came with an USAF background and years of aviation experience and expertise. Ron was an accomplished business man with a love for aviation.  Together they were the perfect match for a successful propeller company that has flourished for over 35 years.  Since that time there has been a core team that has remained with Sunstate Propeller.  Ron’s son, Shawn, eventually took the reins of the company and has successfully managed and expanded the business for the past 17 years.  Sunstate Propeller has recently moved to a new, more updated facility in St. Petersburg, Florida and continues to provide the same exceptional service to all of their customers.  It has always been the goal of Sunstate Propeller to get you back in the air safely, quickly, and at a great price.
